"gp rapid response"

About: NHS Grampian

(as the patient),

I had been coughing a lot for a few weeks, then my sputum turned green and infected looking. I had a wedding to attend two days later and felt too ill. I called my gp surgery at 1705 and spoke with the receptionist. The gp called me back within minutes, took a history and offered me an appointment at 1750. I took it, was seen promptly and courteously and after examination and discussion I was in the pharmacy by 1800.

marvelous service all round.
