"Maternity Unit"

About: Watford General Hospital

On the 7th October I attended Watford to be induced with my second baby. Everything happened very quickly and unfortunately not as planned and I had an emergency c-section. Throughout the entire time of going into the hospital until leaving three days later I experienced the best of care, I encountered some of the most friendly and helpful staff. They all made an effort to lift my spirits, especially during the c-section and directly after as I lost a significant amount of blood. I spent two nights in the observation unit and have to say this is where I met the most caring and dedicated individuals. Throughout the whole process I had every stage explained to me. Staff also took the time to review my labour and explain everything to me (although being so tired, not all of it went in!) For an extremely busy hospital, I did not once feel like I was being left. They did an incredible job. Thank you to everyone I encountered, I have a very healthy happy little boy because of your work. xxxxx
