I have been attending the Haematology Department at Wycombe Hospital since May 2008 and am very grateful for the excellent treatment I have received. I was under the care of Dr Pattinson, with whom I developed a good rapport and had confidence in his decisions.
My chronic lymphocytic leukaemia returned in April 2014, and once again I have been attending Haematology Out Patients. I book the appointment requesting Dr Pattinson, but on three out of four occasions he has not been present at the clinic.
Would it be possible for the booking clerks to know what doctors are available when arranging future appointments, as I am a great believer in continuity of care both for doctors and patients, and a better booking system would facilitate this.
"Better booking system would help continuity of care "
