"A & E visit"

About: Basildon University Hospital

Had to go to A&E at Basildon Hospital over a week ago. Diagnosed with a DVT in leg which was very painful. After blood test eventually say a doctor who prescribed injections and referred for scan and for daily visits by District Nurse to administer daily injections. All depts were on the ball no delay in scan and immediately say Anti-Coagulation team for further treatment and follow up visits. I can say I am very grateful for the prompt and kind care shown by everybody I met involved in my treatment and cannot thank you all enough.

We are pleased that your recent experience of care through Accident and Emergency at Basildon and Thurrock University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was a good one. We will forward on your kind words to the department concerned. Thank you, your comments are appreciated.
