I had a gastric band, Aug 08, at Claremont hospital. I would like to thank my specialist nurse, Louise King, at Gateway health. She’s only been a phone call away ever since. Her care& knowledge has been excellent. I have the option of attending monthly self help groups and clinic every month, for a one to one with Louise. A gastric band, is a big move. I’ve got new friends, through having the band, who have gone with other weight loss groups. and been disappointed. They have had problems and had to wait for appointments, weeks away, for saline to be reduced in their bands. I too have had the same problem, but Louise has drove back. Many thanks!
