"Crossroads-patient confidentiality completely..."

About: Southmead Hospital

I attended AED on Friday- the care that I relieved was fantastic- cannot fault it. very professional and caring staff. Crossroads was a joke however- nothing more than a corridor. Cannulas were being put into patients sitting in the row of chairs with full discussion of their problems/symptoms-absolutely no patient privacy. Even worse- all and sundry were able to hear a full patient clerking taking place on the same row of chairs in the corridor- no respect for this patient's confidentiality whatsoever. This desperately needs addressing- practices such as this completely let down a very good department.
