Visited A and E today with my father, although there was the usual police presence and drug addicts outside the entrance,it was very calm and controlled normally we would avoid this hospital for that reason,we decided to take our father to the RLH rather than Fazakerley due to our families poor treatment there last November, when our Mother passed away.My father like most men of his age 75 is very proud and rarely visits hospitals or his GP,so for him to ask to go to hospital was huge for ,yield and my sister, the booking in was fast and efficient although the reception is undergoing a lot of building work, the receptionists were very friendly, then we were taken through to the assessment cubicles ,the nurse who took my dads obs as very caring and kind, the young lady Doctor ,gave my dad every test she thought he needed and more, again she was kind and patient with all three of us,especially my father, she gVe us what we went for peace of mind that my Father had nothing serious she could detect, but gave us the offer to bring him back should his condition deteriorate, as a citizen of Liverpool I have always agreed with the masses, that you only visit the Royal if you have no option,my opinion has changed so much today hence me writing this review even after hardly any sleep last night due to my Father being ill,I felt the need to praise the staff before tomorrow comes and I forget. Well done and Thank you all so much,ps I forgot to mention the really nice Porter outside the XRay department who was really friendly and welcoming, brilliant staff training if this is what the outcome is.
