"Raewald day surgery unit"

Nobody likes going to hospital, my visit to the day surgery unit deffinately exceeded my expectations. First stop is the reception, smiley face even at 7.30 in the morning,everybody hand sanitised and the general cleanliness of the facility was good, I could not see any areas that need attention. I was in for a urethroscopy & cystoscopy. Being anxious and unsettled about the day soon melted away as my nurses settled me into the single room space. My procedure was well covered by good explanation right from the consultant down to the junior, from the pre theatre room to the recovery room. When back in the day surgery ward the nurses really do look after you. Comforting to know this level of care is available on the NHS, You would think I was getting private health care, keep up the good work and thank you.
