About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Cardiology & Coronary Care Unit Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance

(as the patient),

Sharp pain in center of chest, asked my wife to call ambulance at 8. 45am which arrived at 9am, into E. R. I. within six to eight minutes approx. distance 7 miles approx.

Straight in theater stent inserted into main artery going to heart, this was through wrist.

In recovery room by 11. 25am. Spent three days in hospital.

First class treatment by all staff, Food was good and enjoyable.

This happened in November 2012 which was my 72nd. birthday thanks for my life.

Thank you very much for posting your story. It must have been a very worrying time but great to hear you received excellent treatment and are doing well and about to celebrate your 74th birthday. Happy birthday when it comes.
