"Excellent care"

My wife was admitted to your hospital in mid October. I wanted to express my gratitude to the staff at the hospital. She got admitted with a very acute headache and was sent there by our GP. After arriving on the ward, AMU, it took a little time for her to be given a bed, approx. 40 mins. But this was the worse experience of the whole day, so not complaining at all. She was cared for and made sure she was well, the ward allowed myself to stay with her for as long as was required and the food was of an excellent standard from what is expected. You hear a lot of very negative experiences in hospital but I can say that your hospital is not one. The nurses had time for each and every person on the ward.

I would like to make a special mention of one particular lady who was an African Caribbean decent, presumed from her accent. As she was a loving and caring women and deserves to be acknowledged within this story


Your service throughout the day was speedy and accurate.

I thank you all for what was a worrying day but the staff settled a lot of our worries. Thank you to everyone that played a part in my wife’s care.

You guys were wonderful.
