"Fantastic care"

About: Homerton University Hospital

My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year. Since then she has received numerous scans and tests as well as surgery. Throughout, the care at Homerton has been excellent. They have acted swiftly and decisively but with a great deal of thought to the difficult emotional situation we found ourselves in. Our specialist breast care nurse deserves special praise. She helped us to navigate the system and went out of her way to make sure we understood what was happening at all times. She also took time to comfort us on several occasions when we received difficult or upsetting news.
