"Terrible communication and waiting times"

About: Circle-Nottingham NHS Treatment Centre

When I was first referred to a consultant by my GP for a digestive disorder, I was given the choice of the Treatment Centre or City Hospital. I chose NTC because it was new - worst decision I've ever made. NTC are terrible with communication, sending appointment letters out by second-class post which reduces the amount of time I have to organise time off from work to go to appointments. I have also had to proactively contact them and complain to the trust to get any progress with issues that I was told were in hand by my consultant. I am still waiting for an operation I was led to believe would have taken place over a year ago and can't believe the waiting times for things! Avoid avoid avoid. Once I have had my operation I am asking for my GP to refer me to another hospital.
