"Pleased with my recent CBT With Julie"

About: Inclusion Matters Liverpool

(as the patient),

I have experienced several traumatic experiences in my life and was suffering with mental and physical signs of anxiety. My GP and hospital tried to convince me pains in my arms were anxiety related, but of course when you're in this state you don't see it! I'd had CBT years ago with a lady called Collette who was amazing I'll never forget everything she taught me! But was advised I needed a higher level of CBT and that's when I met Julie.

My first few sessions I was thinking, how is this helping me! Well my advice ladies and gents is to persevere because by my last few sessions the change in my anxiety levels and my way of preventing them were amazing and even though I know I will probably always suffer with generalised anxiety disorder, I'm now in a better place and able to see my warning signs and act upon them! I'm in a much happier place thanks to this service and Julie.

Dear Jo CBT

Thankyou for sharing your experience. It's good to hear that your perseverance has paid off and that with Julie's help and support you have seen a significant change in your anxiety. I'm sure others either just starting therapy or considering it will find your feedback encouraging and will help them stick with it.

Best wishes

Tracey
