"A major difference to the ward is the more relaxed environment. The courtyard can be used any time I like and there is an element of freedom to chill out and relax There's no hustle and bustle like the wards and when you are at Prospect House I can get seen by staff when I need it with no waiting" - JasB

"I can be open with the staff The way you can interact with the staff is quite easy. I'm looking forward to coming off the ward at Porchester House and getting a bed at Prospect. It's more homely and you can self cater. It's more Positive at Prospect than on the ward and the staff are able to help when you need it as they have more time as it's a 7 bed unit. I do everything for myself we share tasks around the unit." - Saul

This is fantastic feedback which will be shared with the team at Prospect House. The purpose of Prospect House is to promote independence through activities such as self catering whilst encompassing a therapeutic atmosphere where patients feel able to approach the staff team.

We are also pleased with Prospect House as it enables us to give this level of independence much earlier than we would have been able to previously.
