I was referred to A&E because I was dehydrated due to having a stomach bug and being 7 months pregnant. The first nurse I saw was lovely but then left to go home at 22:00, I was then handed over to another doctor who wasn't very nice at all. I was told I could go on a drip for 2 hours and then go home. I was then told by the doctor that I had a blood clot on my lung (!) and needed to have an X-ray but being pregnant this would cause a risk to my unborn baby so I refused to have it. I was then approached by another rude female doctor who insisted on me having the X-ray even though I clearly stated I didn't want it but she still went ahead and booked me in! She told me if I had a blood clot I would need an injection to thin my blood but I only agreed to have this if I had a blood clot and the X-ray showed that I didn't. The doctor still went ahead, without my permission after I told her I didn't want it, and gave me the injection! That is absolutely disgraceful and out of order. How can you expect people to trust doctors when they go against your wishes? No communication between the doctors, nurses and patients, they are rude and very unhelpful. They somehow managed to lose my shoes and I left the ward barefoot. I will be complaining and I want my shoes back! Disgraceful. Absolutely disgraceful!
"Absolutely disgusted!"
