I brought my eight months old daughter in with a high and increasing temperature caused by an ear infection. A&e quickly directed me to the children s a&e and they quickly checked her and directed me to take her to the hippo centre. The staff there were as fast and efficient and went all out to help.

It is so wonderful to receive such positive feedback about our teams in Paeds A&E and Hippo Unit and thank you for taking the time to write to us about your experience. Our teams are always keen to hear patient feedback and work hard to ensure that we continue to deliver high quality care to all our children and young people coming into our hospital. It is always a worrying time for parents when their children become unwell and need to come into hospital- I am happy that the team helped to make a worrying time more bearable and I wish you and your little girl all the very best.
