I've had the misfortune to have to visit A&E. The care I received was adequate, though brusque. But my review relates to cleanliness. In the waiting room there was a man who soiled himself, but this was not cleaned up. Later I noticed that against the wall where I rested my head, I had in fact been leaning against a blood stain. When I was seen, I was taken into the cubical, where I was placed on a trolley. There were blood stains on the wall and the mattress. What worries me is these were the stains I could see, I dread to think what I couldn't see. The department need a deep clean and someone to take charge. I did see signs in the waiting room asking for feedback, but no obvious way to give it. I also got a text a few days later asking for feedback. I would have given it, but I would have been charged for sending a text message.
