"Diabolical treatment!"

About: Queen Alexandra Hospital

After an accident, having over 5 inches of metal through my arm I went to the a&e department only to be sent home 3 hours later (with it still in) and told that I will be called in the next day. I had to ask for some sort of padding or covering and just told not to lay on it! I eventually got it taken out under surgical procedure the next day. I was given no after care advice whatsoever even though a major muscle was torn on impact. A nurse came and handed me three pieces of paper, told me I was discharged and that was it. Never again will I attend this hospital, I should have learnt from last time when they diagnosed a break when there never was one all because the doctor was in a rush to go home. I certainly would not put my children through any sort of experience at QA.
