"Inflexible arrangements for getting a flu jab"

About: NHS Borders

(as the patient),

my medical practice are only giving flu jabs between 8-30am and 12 noon I have explained that this would mean me taking a full day off work without pay to no avail. Receptionist said no flu jabs will be given outwith these times. I believe there will be many men who travel outwith there locality who will have a problem with these times. Previous years I have been able to get my jab after work surely I can still do this

Dear 'sinful'

I am sorry that you are finding it difficult to access the flu vaccination from your medical practice. I would suggest that in the first instance you speak to the practice manager, if you are unsure who this is please contact the Feedback and Complaints Team on 01896 826719 who will be happy to help.

Best wishes, Stephen Bermingham
