I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment. After getting changed, I only had to wait about 20 minutes before being taken for the scan.
It was quite straightforward - the procedure was explained clearly beforehand and the scan was completed without any problems.
I have now been awaiting results for 3 weeks, though I would hope that if there was anything seriously wrong you would hear back more quickly.
