My husband attended Pinderfields for an assessment for Parkinsons. Parking impossible near to the Main Hospital even for Blue Badge holders. Also impossible to walk the lengthy distance from the general car park. Asked if my husband could attend Dewsbury hospital. Once inside the service was one of which Henry Ford would have been proud but no complaints about the assessment or staff.
Referred to the Eddercliffe Centre for Physiotherapy by Dewsbury Hospital.
The service, staff and treatment at Eddercliffe was unbelievable! To choose any member of staff for special mention would not be possible as they were all outstanding, friendly but professional, caring, considerate - I could go on.
The 'patients' were sorry when their treatment came to an end, this was the social highlight of their week!
I did hear one complaint from an elderly lady, When asked which sandwich she would like for a snack lunch (supplied free of charge at 12 lunch time) from a choice given to her she said 'Not cheese. There was no Branston Pickle in it last week'. I was strongly tempted to suggest she tried another café.
The Ambulance Service is second to none. A complaint from a sprightly gentleman was that the Ambulance to take him home was five minutes late and if it didn't arrive soon he would go home by 'bus as he had some shopping to do. I wonder why he didn't come by bus!
Parking right outside the front door, no waiting for the appointment time, offered cups of tea and biscuits immediately on arrival. We were fortunate that we had our own transport but for others the Ambulance Service and drivers were outstanding, referring to the patients by their forenames.
What more could I say.
"Outstanding, friendly and professional service"
