"Polite and friendly staff"

I visited the outpatients in September and I saw a trainee, who was extremely friendly and polite. I then saw another lady and she was just amazing! Made me feel at ease, spoke to me like a real person she was wonderful.

My visit today was to be put on the list and go through the procedure of being sterilised. I am also due a smear test and they very kindly did a test there and then saving me a trip to my local doctors. I explained previous smears have made me uncomfortable, straight away another nurse came up and rubbed my arm and made conversation to keep my mind elsewhere.

They were extremely gentle with me, I didn't realise it was over until Mrs Oates said ‘all done’ rubbing my leg. I even said to my mum I would be more than happy to go there every 3 years for smear tests!
