"Surgery for an infected serbacious cyst"

About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske)

I was admitted by my doctor on 17 October. I initially went to STU where I was booked in seen by a surgeon and was informed that I required a general op to remove the cyst and drain the infection. A bed was was found for me in SAL where I waited for my op, which took place on Saturday evening. Back home yesterday to recover. The medical and nursing team were very personable, professional and caring. When I was given the all clear to eat the food was good and the ward etc was clean, so thanks also to the catering hostess and the cleaning team. A big thank you to you all. I know that if for any reason I am admitted to RCH Again in the future, I am in safe and caring hands.
