I was in the Margaret Duncan ward for 5 days, the senior nurses were exceptional and filled you with confidence, one is the best injection giver in the world!! Junior staff, whilst always busy were always smiling. A thank big you to them for always lightened up the day. The only big downside was the food - so bad words fail me. Broccoli soup was presented in a green plastic mug and was so slimmy have no idea how anyone managed to make it like that, perhaps there is an opening on Masterchef for new innovative cooking methods!!!!!!! Parsnip and apple soup was gritty and just tasted of puréed bad apples. However you go to hospital for the treatment and that was first class, just take your own food. The jewels in the crown were the theatre staff, an all female team who were simply outstanding, the biggest jewel goes to the surgeon a very rare diamond. A quick word on the pre assessment staff, very efficient, caring and friendly. The administration team very big thank you for all the shuffling around we had to do.
"Great hospital and staff"
