"Take care of yourself without knowing the problem"

Spirometry tests have top her perform,ed in a corridor in the presence of other patents, with staff making no attempt to exclude the public from the area. We are asked to take more responsibility for our own health, yet we are not allowed copies of the clinicians letter unless we make a formal request. every other hospital I attend automatically send me copies of clinical reports. I have to assume I see a consultant then have to guess what my problem is at the same time take responsibility for my own health ... what a joke! Fantastic PALS office, the best fro miles ... but could provide an answer to my problem ... why aren't clinicians lettres copied to pateints?
