"Total Knee Replacement"

I cannot properly express my feelings about this experience. From the initial conversations to the pre-operation assessment through to the admissions procedure, everything was excellent. That was just the start: the staff on Ward 3 (of all grades) were superb. My consultant and his team made everything seem so simple and their cheery smiles as I dozed off before the operation and when I awoke were really reassuring. The post op care was exemplary, nothing seeming to be of too much trouble and the discharge arrangements and liaison with my local hospital in Cumbria were faultless.
