This review is on behlaf of my Grandmother, Back in June she had fallen over and managed to brake both of her wrists. Arriving at the A&E Department the waiting time was around 2 hours. The A&E Staff were very good, however we did find the reception staff a little miserable and made My Grandmother feel rather uncomfortable. After waiting just over 2 and half hours My Grandmother was seen and had Xrays again Staff were very good. She was given an appointment with the doctor for the following day. She would love to thank him for being so Kind and gentle with her when she was in a lot of pain. She would also like to thank the Reception Staff as they were very pleasant and couldnt be more helpful. The Nursing staff also for being very caring. Her last appointment was with the doctor was very good and very understanding, he offered for her to come back with any problems if needs be. It felt that these Consultants really love their jobs and patients and the quality of care was very good. I think My Grandmother had a very good experience despite all the things that can go wrong within the hospital setting. You do hear alot of bad press, However i could not fault the service she received. Staff dont get recognised enough for what they do, and for that I would like to thank them for helping My Grandmother. Thank You :)
