"Out of hours service (111)"

About: Stoke Mandeville Hospital

We used the 111 service for the first time during the early hours of 18th October 2014 to report an ear infection and severe dizziness being suffered by my wife. We were very impressed by the thoroughness and courteousness shown by the person dealing with our call, and by the doctor, who phoned us back within 10 minutes and arranged an out of hours appointment at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. We were further impressed by the examination given by the doctor at the hospital and by the short time between our arrival and being seen. Many thanks. Sylvia & Alan Bairstow
