During the last year I have been involved in two kinds of Cancer Screening Programmes:
1. Breast Screening at Rotherham District Hospital - the service was excellent, the appointment was on time and the way that the staff dealt with me was very good. This is an excellently run department and I have no complaints.
2. Bowel Cancer Screening Programme - the correspondence for this programme came by post from the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Gateshead. I was sent a test kit along with instructions on how to use it and then it was sent back in a Freepost envelope and within a week I had the results. Once again this was an excellent service, well thought out and administrated and I was extremely pleased that I took advantage of the service offered.
I would like to thank the NHS for the way it is dealing with these ares of Cancer Screening.
