To whom it may concern.
On Thursday 16 October, whilst at my home near Falmouth I suffered what was diagnosed as a severe reaction to something unidentified. My wife in her concern dialled 999. Fortunately, I was in a bad way when the Paramedics and subsequently the ambulance arrived, presumably from Falmouth, otherwise I fear that the casualty staff RCH Treliske would think me to have been shamming as I was almost back to normal on arrival at A & E.
The NHS suffers from much criticism, perhaps some justified, but I doubt that most critics have been to some of the places in the world which I have. I found the entire experience to be a first class service, from the first arrival of a Paramedic until my discharge later that evening. Had I not felt so grim initially I would have accepted it as a pleasant adventure. This bears out the experiences which all of my family have also had in the past.
I would wish you to pass my comments to the appropriate Ambulance Station at your convenience.
Thank you NHS
Yours gratefully,
"First class service"
