"Apathy"

Had appointment 29 Sep was unable to have injection, as a nurse had phoned in sick, was told to come back was not happy so consultant said he would get my GP to do it, and told me to contact her in 7/10 days, waited 15 she had not heard from the hospital and suggested I rang the dept and find out, a secretary said Oh yes a letter is here I will send it out now, Did complain to pals about the mismanagement over the injection, but true to all bureaucratic people they just made excuses for the chaotic and apathetic orthopaedic dept. Still not had the injection and do not expect it till next week at the earliest, so for over two weeks have been hobbling around on a very painful knee. A NHS hospital that is unable to give an injection???
