The Trust is very sorry to read that you are in pain and that you were given an expectation of a much shorter waiting list for treatment. This is not acceptable and we would like to assure you that all comments are taken seriously and acted upon as part of our ongoing commitment to improving people’s experience. With this in mind, your posting has been forwarded to the General Manager and Clinical Lead for Orthopaedics. It is important that patients are seen in order of clinical priority and given that it's been a while since you were seen, a review by your GP might be a sensible option. Alternatively, we have a Patient Advice & Liaison Service (PALS) that liaise with Trust staff on behalf of patients to look into queries and concerns. If you would like to contact PALS to talk through your concern, they can be contacted on 01424 758090 or by email at: PALSH@esht.nhs.uk. If, however, you would prefer to speak to someone independent of the Trust, you can also contact Healthwatch East Sussex. Healthwatch East Sussex is your independent consumer champion for health and social care. The role of Healthwatch is to make sure your views and feedback are heard and affect the decisions made by the people who deliver your services. You can contact Healthwatch by phone: 0333 101 4007, text: 0779 410 0409, email: enquiries@healthwatcheastsussex.co.uk or visit the website www.healthwatcheastsussex.co.uk Thank you for bringing your experience to our attention. We hope that we have given you some useful options to take forward.
