"unproffesional"

About: William Harvey Hospital

my nan was taken to this hosptial when she suffered from an asthma attack, and passed away within the same day. The care they provided was satisfying but I feel they were very unproffesional in the way they told me and my family the news of my nans passing. My dad rung up after being informed by his brother about her asthma attack, and my dad asked whether we could visit, not knowing she had passed away. The nurse on the phone in her exact words were 'your mother is dead, but you can come up the hospital and see her if you wish'. I find this a very unproffesional way of telling my family the news.
