In June 2007, I received cognitive behavioural therapy at Warrington PCT. The building was clean but dated and unwelcoming. The therapist was friendly and caring but did not seem to fully understand my problems. The waiting list was very long and yet I was offered no support apart from medication and a sympathetic ear from my GP. It does seem that healthcare professionals want to help but finance is an issue.
