"Ridiculous waiting times and no communication..."

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus

I was referred here by my private orthodontist to see what type of surgery I would need. It turns out that the NHS are able to offer all of the dentistry and surgery I need - which is fantastic - but, I've been waiting 7 months to receive an appointment to see the surgeon. Once I get this appointment (and agree to the surgery, which I have already told them I want) I have to wait another 6 months to get a surgery appointment. The staff are absolutely useless when you phone up. I've rang on several occasions and been given different pieces of information each time but, if you tell them this, they call you a liar and get rude and offensive. I have no doubt that the dentist knows what they are doing but the whole department is an absolute shambles.
