"A&E Fail"

About: King's College Hospital (Denmark Hill)

Extremely disappointed in the quality of service received by the triage nurse in A&E, she was not welcoming, unapologetic, had very poor manners, not very sympathetic and argumentative. Not only that but the security guard was no help, made no effort to assist me in making a complaint. And embarrassed me in front of everyone. Felt very victimised and I went there for help as I'm very poorly. After all of that I was admitted and now on a drip, only good experience was the doctor who dealt with me after the ordeal :,-(

I am sorry for the delay in responding. I hope that since your admission you have been able to access the information to register your complaint about your experience in the Emergency Department. If for any reason you ha ve been unable to do so the email contact is kch-tr.patientcomplaints@nhs.net In the interim I will also of course feed your comments about the triage nurse and security staff in the department to their relevant managers.
