"Social Inclusion and Wellbeing Volunteer Fair at NCVS"

About: Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

(as the patient),

On Friday I visited a fantastic Volunteer fair organised by the Social Inclusion and Wellbeing team at the NCVS in the city centre.

It was great to find such a mix of opportunities, people and stalls. There was Nottingham Castle, the Police, Stonebridge Farm, Disability Direct and many more.

I was very moved by the personal story of how one persons life had been improved by volunteering. She signed her story, which was a powerful display of inclusion, diversity and empowerment.

It was a great, positive day, I met alot of people and everyone was friendly and welcoming.
