"The midwife was calm, floating around from patient to patient"

In March I came into the delivery suite and saw a midwife called Leanna Stanley-Wright. She did all the checks and didn't leave me alone longer than 20mins or so, even when ward was so busy. She was calm, floating around from patient to patient, very reassuring and so professional. I turned up at hospital around 5. 30 ish and I was 7cm dilated, after the checks Leanna made me comfortable and I sent my family home much to her worry...but I told her I preferred being alone.

My baby was born in the early hours of the morning . She was so cute. Leanna did everything for me, and was so kind. I write this because previously I have had poor care at the maternity ward, but if all midwives are like Leanna, then there will never be another complaint. Well done, you did us proud, as a former member of staff at that hospital, I feel great to have been in your care.
