"After a vist for a serious Kidney Infections"

About: Royal Preston Hospital

Nursing care is second to known but at least one trainee doctor was to keen to get the number up on certain test ( that to be honest were done at admission and were clear ). on the last night of admission the nurse were working hard more so covering for sickness. yet another nurse from another ward decided to visit her friend ( who to be fair was in pain ) but caused so much confusion as she kept tell patient she didnt work on the ward. Perhaps in future if a nurse (supposed to be on another wards) does need to see a friend who is sdaly ill then they should consider wearing a jumper or something that suggest she isnt working.

Thank you for providing your feedback. I am sorry to hear of your experience and do appreciate the confusion caused to patients as a result of a nurse from another area visiting the ward in uniform. We would expect all our staff to try to be helpful to both patients and visitors and, where appropriate to liaise with staff from that area to enable patients to be given any necessary care or help and apologise if this did not happen.
