About: Andover War Memorial Hospital

I visited Andover Day Surgery Unit for an Endoscopy yesterday. The fact that I didn't have to go to Winchester for the procedure was a bonus. I was very nervous but the nurse who checked me in was lovely and went out of her way to reassure me. The consultant clearly explained what would happen and although not a pleasant experience, I was looked after and supported by 2 wonderful nurses in the theatre. I was given clear information on what to do should I have any problems before I was discharged. My experience was very positive and I think we are fortunate to have this facility in Andover.
