"I am emotionally in a much better place"

About: Inclusion Matters Liverpool

(as the patient),

Emotional events

- Infertility – 10 years

- Coping with stillbirth of twin girls

- My dad dying after suffering from terminal cancer

- Having to leave job because of stress

The CBT really helped me to analyse my thought process and gave me the tools to help with worries and depression. I am still not 100% better as I need some grief counselling, but I am emotionally in a much better place. Thank you Megan for all the help and support you have given me.

Thanks for your response I really appreciate it. I would say to anyone who is going through traumatic events/ feeling depressed to go to their GP and ask to be referred for Counselling/ CBT/ Talking Therapy. There is help available out there and no one should have to suffer alone.
