"Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy October 2014"

About: Hexham General Hospital

I had my surgery in Ward 3 Hexham this week, under the care of the consultant. I cannot speak too highly of the care I received from him, the anaesthetist, and from the theatre and ward staff. From my first out patient visit I received five star treatment. Not only was my surgery itself carried out in an exemplary manner, but every aspect of my care was excellent. Privacy, dignity, communication, cleanliness and diet were all of a very high standard. All the staff were professional, caring and friendly. I cannot recommend this hospital too highly.

Dear Sir/Madam, I hope your recovery at home is going well following your surgery. Thank you for sharing your recent experience of ward 3. ‘Five star treatment' is a phrase that we frequently hear applied to care at Hexham and I am so please that this was true for you also. Our staff will be encouraged to know that they got all aspects of your care exactly right - we cannot thank you enough for acknowledging their hard work and giving them an important morale boost. With best wishes, Annie
