"Sent home from a&e with serious spine problems"

About: John Radcliffe Hospital

I was rushed in by ambulance as I had drop foot with serious pain. After spending all day there I was sent home with even more painkillers and a review to msk hub in 3 weeks. When the Nuffield team looked at my scan I has surgery the next day. Flattened nerve due to prolapsed disc. May never regain full use of or feeling in foot/ leg. Now have months of physio. Should never have been sent home from JR!
