"Ward 19, operating area and staff"

About: Leicester General Hospital

I have had 2 operations over the last 18 months under Prof Dias and have used this ward and the team on both occasions Firstly the ward and its staff are so friendly and helpful. Its a busy day ward but I never see any of the staff show frustration. If there is a problem they are quick to let you know that something has changed. I have been to many hospitals in many countries through my life and I can say that ward 19 and its staff are the best - well done The Operating area and the team their are again a credit to the hospital. They have a difficult task and made me at ease and welcome - believe it or not I even laughed at some our conversation - well done One minor point would be a better booking process as the wait from 7 15am until the operation 4pm could have been better planned
