"Excellent care"

We have been really impressed with the care on the Sulis Ward at St Martin's. The staff have been brilliant in caring for my dad who was there for four weeks and for my mum who has been 'incarcerated' there for two months now. They are respectful and take a genuine interest in the patients and have got to know us for the three months we have been visiting! Some staff are stricter than others about things, and we preferred the ones who understood our situation and gave us a bit of leeway, but recognised they all had a job to do and rules to follow. The level of general care, nursing care and medical support has been excellent, and having initially been a little disappointed that dad didn't get into Paulton, which he knew from previous hospital experience, we soon realised that St Martin's was an excellent facility and was actually easier in the long run for us all. We are really grateful and couldn't recommend it highly enough.
