I attended with a mid back muscular injury. I was not physically examined by the doctor, had no questions asked that might differentiate the manner and nature of the injury. When I asked what could be done I was told 'nothing', and that if I could not breathe properly due to the pain that I should 'go to A&E'. After a sleepless and painful night, I subsequently attended my GP surgery the next day and after being examined was prescribed incredibly strong anti inflammatories and muscle relaxants to aid my recovery from the injury. The doctor seemed intent on getting through the consultation as swiftly as possible and did not seem to care one jot about his patient. Also, the place was like a ghost town. I can't believe the amount of spending that has happened only to result in a shoddily run white elephant that is no longer even urgent care, but a first aid centre masquerading as something else. I hope that I never have cause to use an urgent care service again, but should I need to I will not attend here.
"Just awful"
