"Gastroscopy investigation"

I was terrified of having this investigation done. As it is obviously not very nice having a camera put down your throat. But all the staff were fantastic. Everything was explained in great detail so i knew what to expect. Also they talked throughout the whole procedure so i knew what was going on. I decided not to be sedated and instead had a throat numbing solution. Its was really scary but all the staff were excellent and made me feel very safe and secure. Without their continued support and reassurance, i don't think i could have fully completed the investigation. It was all over in a few minuets and i had the results straight away. The whole department looked and smelt very clean which again was very good.
