"Very disappointing experience."

I stayed for 1 night having had a Kellers anthroplasty. The consultant was excellent but the level of nursing care was very poor. Some of the nurses did't know what they were doing, the level of hygiene was poor and the staff wouldn't listen to what was said to them. I completed a questionnaire 3 weeks ago and entered my name and telephone number, thinking someone might want to discuss the poor service I received. My husband, who witnessed some of my treatment, thought l was naive, and there would be no interest in my concerns - he was correct. I was a private patient, using my savings to pay for the procedure, l did not receive value for money.4
