"Late appointment again. No time left to talk to..."

About: Scunthorpe General Hospital

Very very disappointed with my last diabetic appointment. I was over an hour late getting in to see the doctor which left me no time to discuss with him about being taken of DAFNE. I just told him I wanted to come off & why. He went away to consult, came back & gave me a prescription for different insulin & told me how many units to give myself. I have had to mess about with my dosage to try to get my BG readings down (unsuccessfully). I spoke to a diabetic nurse a couple of weeks ago & it was agreed to call her once she was back off her holidays. Called 6/10/14, voice mail advising to call back 7/10/14 unable to leave a message. Called 7/10/14 still voice mail advising to now call back 8/10/14 unable to leave a message again! I am sat here with by BG at an average of over 18.5 for the last 7 days feeling like rotten! & no one to help me with this. I wouldn't even class it as poor service because its not even that good. I will try once more on 8/10/14 & if I can get hold of anyone try no more.
