I have a relative on a ward at Conquest Hospital Hastings.
Every day I see a new concern about their treatment. Staff shortages mean that no wash was assisted with for 3 days. Pressure sores not checked for. Bloody linen on the bed sheets. Important medications forgotten.
There should be a staff/patient ratio for the dependency of the patients, not the amount of patients.
Substandard care to a very precious person.
